Pilgrim

The Pilgrim

This guitar was made based on the baritone Mayones Regius PRO 7 with some changes that were requested by the customer. The head had to be made exactly the same as those of Ken Lawrence instruments, only with 7 strings. In terms of electronics, he wanted piezo from L.R.Baggs.
During the process, we decided to change the contour chamfer. It has become more rounded. Due to this, the top went for a breakthrough, and the sizing from the wenge became more pronounced. In general, the body began to look more elegant. The name was picked by the customer himself. He also gave me the sketch of inlay in the form of the sun.

The work did not go perfectly smoothly.

When I posted a photo of the head, the customer was extremely surprised to see the profile of Mayones. I had to quickly fix it and do what was in the specification. Well, it was my fault 🙂 This moment can be seen in the current report.
Despite this, in the end everyone was satisfied.
Production nuances and the result can be seen in the current and final reports.
Have a pleasant viewing.
